Michael Najjar, MD was born in Bethesda, Maryland. He received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia. He then completed his MD at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Najjar's Internship and Anesthesiology training was at Providence Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He completed a Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Kentucky. He is Board Certified in Pain Management with a Subspecialty Certification in Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. This is the only board certification for pain management endorsed by the American Board of Medical Specilaties.

Michael Najjar, MD

Dr. Najjar is the medical director for Advanced Pain Care locations in Chattanooga, TN. and Dalton, GA.
Dr. Najjar has appeared on Channel 3's Eye on Health Lines and on Channel 9's Call the Doctor on several occasions. He has contributed to health magazines and volunteered his time at various health fairs, educating workers on the effects of spinal injuries and diseases.
Dr. Najjar has lectured throughout the United States for the Society for Pain Practice Management (SPPM) and for the International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS). Both are associations of physicians committed to the development, implementation and standardization of techniques for the precision diagnosis and treatment of spinal pain.
